THE STARCROSS STEAMER 13/3/11
« on: February 24, 2011, 09:07:49 AM »

Right Party People

Who's coming? Names and rank please.

Apparently Coastbuster has been telling everyone he is going to win it!?!

Can Maxi (yes we know you have kids) put a stop to this or will the Heusen (who has been training all winter and then some) be victorious?

Or will Barnstable with his faster lighter glitzy shiny polished (no gaffa tape on the gunnels) sneak in a win?

Surely Gordon, Phil and the other Hampshire lads will make it, just a stones throw!

Will Jeff make the first race?

Did Gavin really open up his own hairdressers and works Saturdays?

Come on March looks very exciting for us Southerners!

Coastbuster is giving his boat away to first phantom now thats a prize!

Should be there, subject to usual terms and conditions.
Final ingrediants have arrived from deepest Devon to enable completion of repairs / refurbishment.

Hang on a minute...you're repairing 1160? I've never seen you do cosmetic repairs to anything before.

Gordon you have 17 days!

This is long enough to build a phantom!

Come on Gordon please come, what do you need to get boat sorted?

Did I say that I was doing it? That would be ridiculous!
1160 is in Portland having some well overdue attention. 4 years worth of battle scars (mostly inflicted by CS) are being tended to.
By all accounts I won't recognise the boat on it's return. Kapok fenders might be the order of the day if CS is sharing the startline at Starcross.

Alf, I think the last time we collided was in 06 so I will put my hand up for 2 small scratches on the gunnel but I would suggest anymore scrapes would be that yellow laser at SB you seem to keep hitting, if not then its the small boys in the Tera's that you bully at CCSC on the startline. When I say bully I mean ramming them from behind then simply apologising! The poor kid came into the changing room in tears! Better be careful how this reads  :o

Unfortunatelly clashes with the Frensham Frenzy (2 open pursuit races) so my allegiance will have to be to home club.  Any of the Southern Softies (Eastern Chapter) coming to the Frenzy??
