Thank you to Chew valley sailing club for an excellent days Yachting although the Phantom was punished on handicap sailing from PY 1015! Simon Hawkes is to blame for this by being just too damn quick again winning the afternoon pursuit race by an heroic lead on an unfavoured course and wind strength to the Phants handicap! We are all convinced Hawkes was sailing a different type boat due to him being several legs ahead. Well done to the DI but please can we have his boat weighed and measured again  :D

Full report to follow

Results top 5

1 Hawkes
2 Jay
3 Heuson
4 Orman
(hop along cassidy)
5 Barnstable

Thats what you think....

Hope the knees ok. I thought you'd done a crussell, at least the dodgy knee was a good reason in the second race.

'Slow'  I hope your knee is not too bad and you recover before Burghfield.  That is said in the spirit of sympathy you showed this weekend! ;D
Good event on Sunday glad so many turned out was a nice day to sail.

Cheers Simon

Can't wait for the full report Slow. There are a load of photos in the gallery of the event. Thankfully they do not show just how far in front Coastbuster was.
