This is starting to look very embarrassing....the tenth october is a sunday, the eleventh sept is a saturday. I Would strongly suggest that the chew website is correct as it is their open. The date given on this website was interpreted from info received along time ago so may be incorrect. Still embarrassing though especially as I started the thread, whoops.

Not That stupid, I've somehow written that it was somehow september rather than october. I Don't know where the eleventh came from though, maybe chew have changed their schedule of events but I doubt it, just looks like a monumental cockup from start to finish.

Just To confirm that according to the chew valley website the visitors day that the phantoms were due to attend is on sunday october 10 th

Please accept my apologies and try to attend !

Just glad I looked for the NOR and spotted the error otherwise you could have all turned up to a non-event!  Errors are so easliy made, especially as we try and organise calendars early in the year, looking forward to seeing you soon.

Don't worry, it is ready for Bartley now!  He will sail the RS200 with a mate as I am not around on Sunday.  Mike will head to Bartley next week (19th) not sure about Chew on the 10th - we have some friends down but they are sailors so he may come anyway.  Not sure about other opens, he will go to Draycote I expect.  I tend to only organise him a week or so in advance otherwise he cottons on...

The super shrimp appears to causing precautions.

Make sure you are in time to wash your boat and fittings down prior to racing.

Nick you better keep your shrimp hidden so as not cause alarm!!! :o

Has Captain Slow been to Draycote recently?  No?  But i think he has recently returned from abroad!

Wonder if we can get him quarantined for about three years or so. ;D

Looking like a great day and if we have as much fun as Spinnaker then will be a good shout.
