Salcombe are unable to offer a 2 day event mid-October as per previous years. Our options are:
a) 1 day event mid-October
b) 2 day event early September - 2 weeks before the Nats.

What preferences do you have?

Morning all,

To confirm...

The first event of the year, Bowmoor, has been postponed. If we are able to reschedule later in the year, we will.
POSH 2020 has been cancelled.

Cheers,

I'm sure everyone is aware / or had assumed it would be - Weymouth Regatta 2020 has been cancelled. This would have been R4 of the Southern Travellers.

Morning folks,

Broadwater Open was scheduled for 3rd October, but has just become the latest victim of coronavirus.

We'll be keeping it on the calendar for next year.

Rich, there is a regatta at Royal Torbay on October 3rd/4th for all dinghy classes, would any Phantoms go to it?

The Salcombe Open is scheduled for 17th & 18th October. Please could people advise if they would intend on going (assuming any lockdown restrictions permit) ? The Salcombe fleet have taken a bit of a hit on numbers this year so we would need to ensure enough visitors to make the event viable. Thanks.

Hi Steve,

Parking / launching are from the dinghy park which is at Batson Creek. The sailing club is at the other end of the town.
If we can get commitment from enough people to run the event I'll make sure all the relevant info is posted in good time.

Hi Steve,

I realise some people aren't on FB, but I did post on here asking for expressions of interest. Apart from yourself no-one has responded, so numbers are still at 5. I've contacted Alister again and am just waiting for his reply.

Hi all,

Unfortunately we've had to take the decision to cancel the Salcombe Open - there just weren't the numbers to justify running it. All things being well we hope to run it again next year.
